Community Banker
Be the Face of First State Community Bank
Make a real difference—every day.
First State Community Bank is looking for a driven, upbeat, and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Community Banker. If you’re quick to learn, energized by helping others, and take pride in being a trusted resource in your community, this role is for you.
Your Role
You’re the go-to expert customers count on. From handling everyday transactions to opening new accounts, you do it all—and do it well. You’re often the first face our customers see and the one they rely on for answers, guidance, and solutions.
As the lead for Horizons accounts, you’ll serve as a trusted point of contact for our long-tenured customers, helping them understand and manage their accounts with care and confidence. You’ll also play a key role beyond the teller line—supporting community involvement, coordinating branch events, and keeping your branch visible and engaged through local marketing efforts.
The best Community Bankers don’t just process transactions—they build relationships. One moment you’re cashing a check, the next you’re opening a business account, organizing a community event, or assisting a Horizons customer who trusts you as their banker.
