KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Support & Troubleshooting:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day technical issues within the Collibra platform, including user access, workflow failures, and job execution errors.
- Analyze system logs and utilize monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks or stability issues.
- Manage and administer Collibra Protect, ensuring fine-grained data access controls are correctly configured and operating as intended.
Integration & Connectivity:
- Build, configure, and maintain JDBC driver connections to enable diverse data sources to integrate with the Collibra Data Catalog.
- Manage technical configurations for Collibra Edge sites to ensure successful metadata ingestion and profiling.
- Collaborate with data owners to troubleshoot connectivity issues between source systems and Collibra.
Vendor & DevOps Coordination
- Act as the primary technical liaison with Collibra vendor support; log tickets, provide necessary diagnostic data (logs, screenshots), and drive issues to resolution.
- Coordinate with internal DevOps and Infrastructure teams for platform upgrades, patches, server maintenance, and network configuration changes (firewalls, proxies).
- Translate vendor technical requirements into actionable tasks for internal Ascension IT teams.
Platform Management:
- Plan and coordinate technical implementations of new features, hotfixes, and major version upgrades.
- Maintain technical documentation regarding system architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for troubleshooting.
- Stay current on Collibra's technical roadmap, specifically regarding changes to APIs, connectors, and infrastructure requirements.
